I *think* i used a Lensbaby for this… I can’t remember, it was last summer sometime. Not really my thing, but it was fun to play with for a little bit :)
This was my first attempt playing with off camera lighting. I bought this little wireless flash trigger on eBay for $30… from China… because I’m tres cool :) Why I never tried it before I have no idea, but seriously, I’m in heaven. I love it. I feel as though I’ve just discovered that I can pocket the sun and now all of my photographs can glow. In case anyone was wondering I turned off all the lights in my apartment, and set my camera at ISO 250 1/200 F2.0. And yes, those are Mardi Gras beads on the door… I am in New Orleans, after all :)
I feel as though New Orleans only had a day of “fall”. The the wind howled, the sky turned gray, and the leafs sort of dropped into puddles and turned into a big pile of black mush. Weather like this makes me really, really miss New York.

i’m not really a morning person. i never have been. i feel like the only time i really experience mornings is when i’m in a hotel. these were taken this past sunday in atlanta. my boyfriend and i drove up for a hockey game :) i always bring my spectra with me on trips, but i almost forgot to use it this time…
i promise to upload more photographs… i’ve just been so busy with wedding editing lately! anyway, this one was taken back in april. happy tuesday!
this is my little “start of fall” triptic in honor of the crazy cold weather i woke up to this morning… my green dress, a tiny pumpkin, and yellow shoes :) all images taken on polaroid spectra film, and cropped square bc they look cuter together that way.
I noticed these little mushrooms in someones lawn yesterday afternoon on my way back from a meeting. By this morning the park was covered in them. Cute little things, but very odd…
